SUMMARY OF CHANGES

The Board has notified us it is changing the name of its CT (Lux) Pan European ESG Equities fund (the “Fund”) and making some changes to the exclusions policy and other environmental, social and governance ("ESG") commitments.

REASON BEHIND THE CHANGES

The changes are being made in response to guidelines recently issued by the European Securities and Markets Authority ("ESMA") on funds' names using ESG or sustainability-related terms. Guidelines have been introduced to ensure that funds using such terms in their name meet the minimum quantitative standards relating to their promotion of responsible investment themes and outcomes.

Though the Fund already complies with most of the requirements of the guidelines, for example in the minimum proportion of assets aligned to its environmentally and social objectives, it does not comply with other requirements. In particular, in order to comply it would have to adopt the exclusions for EU Paris-aligned Benchmarks. The Board and the Investment Manager of the Fund believe that the addition of these exclusions would significantly alter characteristics of the Fund and would result in a number of long-term investments being divested. Due to these factors, it has therefore been decided to change the name of the Fund as follows:

For further details please see the Columbia Threadneedle Notification opposite which includes an Appendix of the before and after changes of the Fund.

Policyholders invested in the Fund do not need to take any action, as the changes will happen automatically to the Fund. However, should policyholders wish to switch to an alternative fund, they can do so free of charge. They can visit the fund centre for their product to review the alternative fund choices available.

We recommend that policyholders speak to their financial adviser before making any investment decisions.
